A total of 19 personal bests at Bingham on Saturday helped keep Falcon ASC second in the Sports Centre League, a position their head coach wants to retain.

Ian Melvin knows his club can’t catch Calverton and Bingham in first place, but believes the runner-up spot would be a fine finish.

He said: “We are unable to catch CABSC in the final round, but we can secure the second place spot in the league this year.

“That would be a great achievement.”

Falcons were fourth on the night.
