In third place are Royal British Legion A, who enjoyed a routine 7-1 vctory at Bestwood Village Social Club with wins on singles for Rich Devine, Tim McShane, Nige Burton, Tom Burton and Glynn Devine and the teams of Mark Williams and Martin Bremner and Devine and Nidge Orton on pairs.
Elsewhere, the derby clash between Green Dragon and The Dragon finished 5-3 in the favour of The Dragon, while despite being deadlocked at 2-2 at one stage, The Chequers surged ahead to beat Liberal 5-3.
