On a mission to entertain

Attention all theatre-goers…  Local law enforcement are on the look-out for two men dressed in black suits, hats, ties and sunglasses!

Yes folks, they’re coming to Mansfield Palace Theatre and they’re on a mission!

The incredible Blues Brothers Experience – a tribute to the legendary Jake and Elwood Blues, is not to be missed and can be seen at the theatre on Saturday, October 31 at 7.30pm.

The Blues Brothers started out in 1978, created by comedy actors Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as part of a musical sketch on the legendary American TV comedy show, Saturday Night Live.

It wasn’t long before the band began to take on a life beyond the confines of television, releasing an album in 1978, Briefcase Full of Blues, and then having a Hollywood film, The Blues Brothers, created around its characters in 1980. The rest, as they say, is history…

The Blues Brothers Experience is a leading and highly authentic tribute to the exceptionally popular cult duo.

This 12 piece, high-energy, high-octane show band, complete with brass section, is coming to the Palace Theatre and guaranteed to crash, croon and rock their way into the lives of anyone with a heartbeat.

Performing a cavalcade of the hits featured in the cult movies The Blues Brothers and Blues Brothers 2000, such as She Caught The Katy, Think, Sweet Home Chicago, Gimme Some Lovin, Soul Man, Everybody Needs Somebody and many more, this is one party you won’t want to miss.

So dust off your pork pie hats, dig out those shades, put on your dancing shoes and get ready to shake your tail feather in an electrifying evening of live entertainment guaranteed to have you dancing in the aisles. The Blues Brothers Experience are coming to town for a night of the best songs, music, moves, thrills and spills this side of Chicago.
