Nottingham Playhouse to present production of Piaf in July
Nottingham Playhouse has announced that live in-person audiences can look forward to the much-anticipated production of Piaf later this year.
The play by Pam Gems, to be directed by Adam Penford, can be seen at Nottingham Playhouse from July 2 to 17.
Piaf was previously due to take place in the summer of 2020 and tells the extraordinary life story of the sensational, world-renowned singer Edith Piaf.Her most famous songs include La Vie en Rose and Je Ne Regrette Rien, though the international star began her life singing on the streets of Paris.
Tony-nominated and Olivier Award-winning actress Jenna Russell takes the title role and the play will be directed by Adam Penford (Holes, An Enemy of the People, The Madness of George III).
