NPO has a treat in store for piano fans

Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra will be starting their 2016-2017 season with a performance in the city featuring works by three of the 20th century's leading composers.

The concert at the Albert Hall is on Saturday, October 15. It starts at 7.30pm, will be conducted by Mark Heron, and features performances of Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No 3, Britten’s Piano Concerto, and two works by Igor Stravinsky: his Firebird Suite and the Concerto for Piano and Wind Instruments. Soloists will be Anna Fedorova and Benjamin Powell.
