LaVendore Rogue, winners of The UK Blues Challenge 2017 , bring their unique blend of blues inspired music to Farnsfield Village Centre on Saturday, February 24.

Formed in 2013, out of the band Hokey Joint, they have been winning new fans throughout the UK as they have toured extensively.

Their music combines the influence of Americana and Country with the attitude of punk and rock n roll.

The band is led by the enigmatic Jo Jo Burgess on vocals and Joel Fisk on guitar. Since first meeting in 2003, these two have formed a special bond both as performers and writers of much of the band’s material.

Jo Jo makes his mark as an entertainer in his own right and to see him perform live is a real experience. They are backed by the ever present Stephen ‘Cupsey’ Cutmore on drums, James Payze on bass and Warren Lynn on Hammond organ.

2018 promises to be a particularly busy and successful year with the band representing the UK at International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January and at the European Blues Challenge in Norway in March.

This will be a great opportunity to see them perform at close quarters in the Village Centre in Farnsfield.

Admission to the concert is by ticket only, priced at £12 from Bruce on 01623 883096 or
