Top performer Chantel McGregor is to play at the Newark Blues Festival on Saturday, September 12, with her band.
The gig will be the second date of her 28-day Lose Control Tour.
After four years of touring and numerous festival appearances, Chantel returns with a vengeance with ten new songs that not only salutes contemporary rock, but shows her gradual transition from conventional Blues to a harder, bigger and bolder rock sound with progressive influences.
Chantel’s highly anticipated new album, Lose Control, will be released on October 9 and sees her channelling her guitar playing and songwriting into an exciting pantheon of rock crescendos and riffs.
Also appearing at the festival will be Ben Pool, Northsyde and The Mentulls. The festival will take place at Newark Castle and Gardens, Castlegate, Newark.
