Gary Wilmot and Belinda Lang head the cast of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s award-winning, ground-breaking musical Oklahoma!

The latest touring version comes to Nottingham’s Theatre Royal from April 28-May 2.

This new production of one of the great classic American musicals features Belinda Lang as Aunt Eller and Gary Wilmot as Ali Hakim, plus Ashley Day as Curly, Charlotte Wakefield as Laurey and Nic Greenshields as Jud Fry.

The production, directed by Rachel Kavanaugh and with new choreography by Drew McOnie, is currently touring the UK and Ireland.

With music by Richard Rodgers and book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, Oklahoma! was originally produced on Broadway in 1943 and the Academy Award-winning film was released in 1955. Set in the Oklahoma territory in the early 1900s, the musical tells the story of two sets of star-crossed lovers and includes much-loved songs such as Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’, I Cain’t Say No, The Surrey With the Fringe on Top, Kansas City, People Will Say We’re in Love and, of course, the title song.
