Police want help to find stone-throwing Hucknall teens who tried to smash CCTV camera

Police are appealing for information to track down a group of teenager who tried to smash a CCTV camera in Hucknall.

The incident happened on Tuesday, March 14, between 5.45pm and 6.10pm, oin Aitchison Avenue when CCTV recorded a group of six teenagers – four male and two female – throwing stones at the camera, which did not suffer any damage.

Police are also appealing for information on a number of other incidents of theft, criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.

Between 5pm on Friday, March 10, and Monday, March 13, fuel was stolen from a tank and a bowser on a construction site opposite the recycling centre on Wigwam Lane, Hucknall.

On March 10, at about 5.15pm, a report was made of five or six youngsters throwing snowballs at passing vehicles on Annesley Cutting, Annesley.

On Saturday, March 11, at about 2.15pm, three youngsters, all aged about 12 or 13, were reported as throwing snowballs at passing vehicles on Nabbs Lane, Hucknall.

On Sunday, March 12, just after midnight, a person had their mobile fan snatched from them on Beardall Street, Hucknall. The robber is described as a man aged in his early 20s, about 5ft 6in, of slim build with black hair and wearing dark clothing.

On Monday, March 13, at about 6.45pm, a passer-by reported a blue van with smashed windows and tools and a drill left on the front seat on Linby Avenue, Hucknall.
