Ben Poole to play the blues at Sutton’s Diamond

Blues and roots artist Ben Poole has travelled all over the world and at 25 is one of the genres’ younger musicians

Now he is coming to perform at The Diamond in Sutton on 14th March.

Currently being described as the most exciting young blues/roots artist to come out of the UK in a long, long time, the talented guitarist, singer and songwriter is quickly raising his profile.

After being nominated for three awards at the British Blues Awards in 2011, including Best Young Artist and Best Original Song, he was voted ‘Best Newcomer’ by Blues Matters magazine in the 2012 readers poll, and was chosen by a respected panel of music industry aficionados to represent the UK at the 2012 European Blues Challenge held in Berlin.

He recently released his second album Let’s Go Upstairs, which over the past year has been receiving heavy airplay and rave reviews from across the globe.
