Buxton Festival Fringe turns town into mecca for performers
Theatre, comedy, music, spoken word and family shows will feature in one of the largest arts events in Britain.
This year is the 36th year of the Buxton Festival Fringe, which opens on Wednesday, July 8, and runs until July 26.
The programme will include more than 170 entrants putting on nearly 600 performances across more than 30 venues.

Hide AdPerformers from as far afield as Africa and Japan will be in Derbyshire for the Fringe.
Acts include The Ukulele Orchestra, Radio 4 comedians Max and Ivan, award-winning all-female Shakespeare group Smooth Faced Gentlemen and dotdotdot dance with their world-class flamenco.
