He joins a line-up of festival speakers including Turner Prize winner Grayson Perry CBE, conceptual artist and painter Michael Craig-Martin, writer and BBC Arts Editor Will Gompertz, novelists Esther Freud and Hannah Rothschild and many more.

Art Out Loud, running from September 18 to 20, continues Chatsworth’s long association with the literary world. The Duke of Devonshire owns an antiquarian bookshop in Mayfair where his aunt Nancy Mitford, author of ‘Love in a Cold Climate’, worked during the Second World War, while his mother Deborah Cavendish was a successful published author of more than a dozen books.
