Italian job at Albert Hall for NSO

The first concert of Nottingham Symphony Orchestra’s 2015-2016 season will be a Classical Bites performance at the city’s Albert Hall on Friday, October 16.

This short but sweet concertstarts at 6pm. Conducted by Derek Williams,it features works by four Italian composers.

These are Rossini’s popular Thieving Magpie Overture, Ponchielli’s charming Dance Of The Hours, Bassi’s Fantasy On Themes from Rigoletto, with clarinet soloist Matt Glendening, and Respighi’s spectacular Pines Of Rome.
