Organ ace to play at Belper club

Organist Howard Beaumont, 'Mr Scarborough'
Belper and District Organ and Keyboard Club will be hosting a return visit from ‘Mr Scarborough’ himself, Howard Beaumont, on Saturday, October 17.

He will be at the controls of his Roland 350c organ for a concert that starts at 7.30pm at The Congregational Church, Green Lane, Belper.

Admission is £6 for members and £7 for non-members, including refreshments. Everyone is welcome.

Howard Beaumont’s Roland Atelier 350c portable organ has all the big organ, jazz combo and orchestral voices to thrill the audience.

Last month, Howard completed his 28th summer season at the Scarborough Spa.

He has also celebrated his 50th year as a professional organist.

He has a range of CDs on sale at his concerts and dances. An evening of superb entertainment is guaranteed.
