Godber classic at Lace Market Theatre
John Godber’s play Happy Jack is to be performed at Nottingham’s Lace Market Theatre from November 18-22.
As one of Britain’s best loved playwrights, John Godber’s work reflects, with great accuracy, on aspects of everyday life.
Happy Jack is a play that flits between the decades and tells the story of Liz and Jack, starting at the end of their lives and flicking back eventually to their first date.
It is, at heart, a love story across the years and is one of his most affecting works.
