Ralph Fiennes and Sophie Okonedo star in online screening of National Theatre's Antony and Cleopatra

Politics, passion and power feature in Shakespeare’s tragedy Antony and Cleopatra, to be shown online in a National Theatre production which unites Ralph Fiennes and Sophie Okonedo.

The production directed by Simon Godwin, that was broadcast live from the National Theatre to cinemas across the country in 2018, can be seen on the YouTube channel from tonight (Thursday, May 5) until May 14.

Caesar and his assassins are dead. General Mark Antony now rules alongside his fellow defenders of Rome.
