The production has been at the Nottingham Arts Theatre, based on George Street, since Tuesday.

Directed by Jessica Mclean and produced by Colin Treliving, the performance starts at 7.30pm.

A Taste of Honey was Delaney’s first play, written when she was 18. It was initially intended as a novel, but she turned it into a play and it was later adapted into an award-winning film in 1961.
