The 12th annual family friendly event will be held on Saturday, June 20, at Hankin Farm, New Road, in the barn.
The entrance fee is £5 and souvenir glasses are available for £1.50. Gates open at 2pm and the fun starts at 5pm when the music programme commences. The festival goes on until 11pm, with a continuous flow of music for visitors to enjoy. There will be a number of bands playing live, including Parasight, Jamie Joseph Band and Flat 24/7.
Ripley-based Parasight (pictured) are an energetic, young, five-piece rock band, who perform original song material alongside more popular, classic rock covers.
They recently played at the National Winter Beer Festival in Derby and went down a storm with those who saw them in action.
They have also recently released a single on Belper-based Sound-Hub Records.
Jamie Joseph Band is fronted by a Derby-based soul singer/songwriter currently touring England and will be performing a set of smooth soul songs, played alongside punchy RnB and great covers.
Expect the Derby five piece to pile on stage with a plethora of instruments and stride confidently through a set of the best soul and R ‘n’ B.
Flat 24/7 is the colourful, danceable, alternative indie vibe of three Derby lads, a lady from Leicester and a groovy French drummer.
There will also be other bands on the bill, to be announced by organisers Whatstandwell Social Club.
There will be a licensed bar serving a range of locally brewed traditional ales as well as farmhouse cider, lager, good wines, snacks and soft drinks. Outside, there will be children’s games and activities in the large field plus a barbecue.
Camping is available on the farm campsite for a small additional fee, payable direct to the farm. Toilets and showers are available on site, and caravans, camper vans and tents can all be accommodated.
