Y Not Festival issues call to acts

Y Not Festival is now accepting applications from acts keen to take to the stage at this year’s event, on July 31–August 2 at Pikehall, near Matlock.

Hopeful stars of tomorrow can submit entries via ynotfestivals.co.uk but must do so before April in order to be considered. Tickets frozen at 2014’s price of £84.50 are also now available through Y Not’s website. However, these are strictly limited and won’t be around for long.

Unsigned and up-and-coming acts are set to battle it out for one of 20 slots on the bill at 2015’s Y Not.

Competition may well be fierce as last year saw over 1,800 acts apply. Contenders should head to ynotfestivals.co.uk/bandapp to submit their applications with the winning acts hand picked by representatives from Y Not Festival and major artists from 2015’s line-up. The deadline for all applications is April.

Fans looking for an offer have the chance to scoop up tickets for Y Not 2015 frozen at last year’s price of £84.50. This is subject to limited availability.

and so Y Not suggests festival-goers act fast to avoid disappointment.

Previous years have featured Dizzee Rascal, Frank Turner, The 1975, Bastille and many more. As the festival prepares for its tenth year the promoters are hard at work assembling a line-up suitable for such a big occasion, further announcements will be made shortly.
