Young singers come together for concert

The event, called Vocals!, will bring together children aged 6–11 from all over the East Midlands to perform a concert of songs from smash hit Disney films.

Conductor Helen Hayes said: “This event will provide children with an amazing opportunity to perform in an unforgettable concert as part of a choir of 200 young voices! “

She added: “This year, we will be singing great Disney songs for all ages including songs from Frozen, Mary Poppins, Aladdin and for very young singers The Jungle Book!”

This is one of many events run by music participation charity Music for Everyone, who have been successfully leading educational courses for 30 years.
