Bulwell's new Aldi store all set to open

The new store in Hucknall Road will be run by store manager, Lisa Jones, along with a team of 32 colleagues from the local community.

As part of Aldi’s investment in local communities across the UK, the store will bring new job opportunities to the area and offer more customers access to Aldi’s products.

Lisa Jones said: “We’re really looking forward to opening the new Aldi store here in Top Valley.

“It’s set to be a great day as we’ll be celebrating the opening of Aldi’s sixth store in the area, where we can provide the local community access to affordable, high quality food.

“It’ll be lovely to welcome local customers in to the new store and provide them with Aldi’s everyday amazing products.

“The team and I are looking forward to meeting our new customers in store from Thursday, July 16.”

Opening times are Monday to Saturday, 8am to 10pm and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.

Additionally, the new Aldi store is calling on local charities and food banks in Bulwell to register with Neighbourly, a community engagement platform that links businesses to charitable organisations in the local community.

Charities that register will be able to collect surplus food and perishable products, such as fruit, vegetables and baked goods, up to five days a week.
