Discount store reopens with bigger and better new look

One of Hucknall's favourite high street discount stores has reopened with a new look, new stock and the help of some local heroes.

Store manager Rob Gaunt said: “We’re feeling really positive about the changes we’ve made to the store and feedback from customers this morning has been fantastic.”

The works have also extended the retail space to increase some of B&M’s most popular ranges such as food and drink, homewares, gardening and pet products, toys and health and beauty .

The changes have also allowed for the introduction of items such as bread, milk and other essentials in response to requests from customers.

As part of B&M’s Local Hero initiative, representatives from Sue Ryder charity took centre stage at the official opening.

Sue Ryder provide hospice and neurological care to critically ill members of the community and their representatives were given £250 worth of B&M vouchers to support their work.
