The second shortlisted entry comes in the Improving Care for Older People Award, and it recognises the significant improvements the trust has made in reducing the amount of time some of our older patients need to spend in hospital allowing them to get back home sooner, and improving the efficiency of care.
The trust has also been shortlisted in the End of Life Care category alongside a number of other health and care partners across Nottinghamshire for the joined up end of life care together programme.
The awards help drive improvements in culture and quality across the NHS by celebrating the teams and the people putting safety first.
