Bellway’s special milestone
Bellway has built more than 200 homes at Earlswood on Debdale Lane, giving the disused Sherwood Colliery site a new lease of life.
Sales advisor Jackie Gray has been at Earlswood almost from day one and has overseen nearly every sale.

Jackie said: “Everyone had a connection to the collieries. I used to love going there with my dad. To see the land regain a purpose has been so rewarding.
“People in Mansfield are so friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They have made Earlswood a fantastic place to live.”
Sherwood closed in 1992 and remained empty until Bellway arrived in 2003. Since then a new community has been born at Earlswood and Jackie is firmly at its heart.

Bellway East Midlands sales director Ben Smith said Jackie is a firm favourite with buyers and has been key to the development’s success.
He said: “To have a sales advisor with such strong local connections is a real asset, especially given her links to the site and its role important in the history of Mansfield Woodhouse. When we do eventually move out of the site Jackie will be sorely missed.”
The final phase of construction at Earlswood is now underway, with the work progressing on the 90 remaining homes. This will take the total on site to just over 300. Bellway will be building at Earlswood for about three more years . It is currently selling three and four-bedroom homes at Earlswood, with prices from £124,995.
