Appeal for missing girl in Nottingham

Officers from West Mercia Police are appealing to Nottingham residents to help them locate a missing 14-year-old girl from Telford.

Charlie Palmer left her home in Madeley, Telford, on Thursday 26 February and was last seen at Wolverhampton train station at around 2.10pm the same day. Charlie has links to Nottingham and Manchester and it is thought that she may have been travelling to one of these cities.

Charlie is described as 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build with shoulder length black hair, she was last seen wearing a green parka coat and navy leggings with black or navy trainers, she also wears dental braces on her upper teeth.

Police have released these images of Charlie which were captured at Wolverhampton railway station. She is with a man who is believed to be 19-year-old Caine Lynch from Manchester. Police would also like to speak to Caine because it is thought he could have information that may help officers locate Charlie.

Detective Inspector Mel Paley said: “We are growing more concerned for Charlie’s welfare. We know she has links to the Nottingham area and would urge anyone with information to contact us.”
