Expert forecasters are predicting Saturday to start dry, with outbreaks of rain likely as the day goes on.

However, Friday, Sunday and Monday will be dry with sunny spells.

The forecast comes after the Met Office has issued heatweave alerts across the south and east of the country, with temperatures expected to soar to about 30C (86F) in some areas.

This has caused Public Health England to urge people to be aware of the health risks of staying in the heat for too long.
