Bulwell assault man awaits sentence at crown court
A Bulwell man whose assault on a woman caused actual bodily harm has been sent to Nottingham Crown Court to be sentenced.
Mark Andrew Spence, 50, of Newmarket Road, changed his plea to guilty when he appeared before magistrates in Nottingham on August 1.
The court heard he assaulted the woman in Clifton on June 7 and also damaged phone lines at her home. The case will be sentenced on August 22 at Nottingham Crown Court.
In the meantime, magistrates ordered him not to contact the victim or got to the Clifton area of Nottingham.
He must also live at his home address and abide by a 9pm to 7am curfew.
