Bulwell woman who carried samurai sword faces crown court

A Bulwell woman who carried a samurai sword on her street has been sent to Nottingham Crown Court to be sentenced.

Porscha Scotney, 39, of Broad Eadow Road, admitted carrying the sword on July 12, when she appeared before magistrates in Nottingham on August 4.

She also admitted being in breach of a conditional discharge order which was imposed on April 24 for 18 months for two counts of assault assaulting a police officer and production of cannabis.

She will be sentenced on August 25.
