Businesses urged to attend new development event

Businesses with expansion plans are urged to attend the Grow, Expand and Prosper event which takes place in Edwinstowe on Tuesday 1st April.

The event, which takes place from 9.30m-12.30am, is aimed at those based in the Newark & Sherwood district that are looking to expand and grow their current businesses.

Advisers from the likes of East Midlands Business, UKTI, Fiducia, Nottinghamshire County Council and the District Council will be on hand to talk about sources of finance available to help in their plight to further develop their businesses.

These funds include Unlocking Investment for Growth, Think BIG (business investment for growth) as well as hearing about business angels and other business support services available from NBV Enterprise Solutions.

At a time when the banks are not keen to lend, this event offers many other options and ideas to sourcing funding for local businesses. As well as hearing from the advisers, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their potential requirements on a one-to-one basis.
