Clipstone runner wins hospice charity run in his first ever half-marathon
A Clipstone runner outpaced the pack in his first ever half marathon in aid of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
Richard Green was the first Bluebell Wood runner to cross the line and he said: “Running my first half marathon I wanted to run near to my local area and to contribute to a local charity. Bluebell Wood was the perfect choice for me as they do so much for the children in their care.” The Retford Athletic Club event attracted 700 keen runners in the half marathon and fun run.
