Conservation plan for town

The plan is just one of a number of proposals outlined in Sutton’s new locality plan for the next five years.

The conservation area lies around the area of the Church and Market Place and the connecting residential area.

It was identified as an area of special architectural and historic interest in 2013 by Ashfield District Council.

The council wants to know what residents think about the proposed boundary, conservation area appraisal and management plan for the area.

You can take share your thoughts by completing an online questionnaire, or in person at a public drop in session at Sutton Library from 2pm-5pm on Thursday 4th December.
