Bulwell man stole bikes from hospital

A Bulwell man who stole hospital workers' bikes from the QMC will be sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court.

David Moran stole a £1,677 Cube 29 mountain bike, and a Plant X bike worth more than £1,000 from a bicycle compound at the hospital, on March 25.

On the same date, he also stole two bike helmets of an unknown value, and a £500 grey Boardman mountain bike, from another compound on the University Hospital campus.

He stole a £750 bike from Milton Street, Nottingham, on March 23, and assaulted a police officer on March 27.

He also admitted stealing a bike from Trent College, in Long Eaton, on September 30, last year.

Moran, 35, of Courtleet Way, admitted the thefts and the assault, when he appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court, on March 30.

He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at the crown court on April 20.
