Man arrested in police's crackdown on drugs in Bulwell

Police officers broke down the door of a house in Charlock Close at around 8am on Thursday, July 30.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs.

Hide AdSuspected class A and class B drugs were seized after items appeared to have been thrown from the back of the house.
Officers were assisted in their search by the force’s highly trained drugs dogs and a specialised neighbourhood support unit.
Police Sergeant Oliver Vale said: “This warrant is the latest in a series we’ve carried out in the Bulwell and Bulwell Forest areas.
“This is part of our proactive work to tackle the supply of class A drugs, which is a priority for us in this area of the city.

Hide Ad“I would encourage anyone with information about drug dealing in their area to come forward.
"There may be work we have to do in the background first, but we will always act on reports related to illegal drugs.”
This is part of an ongoing effort by Nottinghamshire Police to crack down on drugs in the area.
Earlier this year cannabis plants worth an estimated street value of around £60,000 were seized from a property in Ockerby Street, Bulwell, cannabis plants were recovered by Ashfield officers in Laughton Crescent and Beauvale Crescent, Hucknall and more than £700,000 of cannabis was seized in three hauls in Kirkby, Selston and Huthwaite.
