'Nuisance' rider has bike seized in Hucknall

A rider was fined and his bike was confiscated as police responded to community concerns.

Officers were called to the Blenheim Industrial Estate, near Hucknall, shortly after 1.30pm on Saturday, October 10, after receiving reports that a large number of quadbikes and motorcycles were being driven in an antisocial way.

The bike was caught and seized when the rider stalled in front of police officers.

He was also fined for having no licence and riding without insurance.

Inspector Mark Dickson, district commander for Ashfield, said: “Nuisance riding by people on off-road motorcycles is a cause of significant local concern.

“I hope this incident serves as a warning to others.”
