• Marston’s PLC – on site Monday, November 20 from 10am until 3pm interviewing for bar and waiting staff.

• Portland College – on site at 2pm on Wednesday, November 22 interviewing for support workers.

• GAP Personnel – interviewing 10am until 2pm on Wednesday, November 22 for warehouse operative for Crystal Martin.


Jobsites such as Indeed, Total-jobs, CV-library are advertising a range of Christmas temporary vacancies with overtime available during this busy peak period of the year.

Companies such as Debenhams, Boots, Card Factory, House of Fraser, Primark, WH Smith, Bon-Marche, Poundland and Sports direct are now recruiting as well.


Costa Coffee and Greggs will set up shop at a new business park near Sutton-in-Ashfield.

The 120-acre site at Castlewood Business Park is already home to Bombardier, Parker Knoll and Midland Aerospace

They will accompany a petrol station based at the entrance of the 120-acre Castlewood Business Park, which is in mid-development next to junction 28 of the M1 and near East Midlands Designer Outlet.

It follows a deal completed between the business park’s owner and developer, CWC Group, and petrol retailer The Kay Group (UK) Ltd and will be aimed at both passing traffic on the A38 to the north and occupiers on the site.
