Owner Kim Burton arrived at The Dressing Room on the High Street at 8.20am on Monday, January 18, to find the rear fire door had been forced open.

She said: “I just thought - ‘Oh no not again.’ I had been burgled before. It is just a blow. You know there will be more damage. You think you’re secure when quite clearly you’re not.”

The raid marks the second time Kim’s store has been hit by burglars since she opened in November 2012.

Although the shops’s CCTV hard drive was taken, two men were captured on another camera as they dragged bundles of stolen clothes into a neighbouring car park over a two hour period. Police say the raid happened sometime between 5pm on Saturday January 16 and Monday morning.
