Elderly patient had money stolen while he was in hospital

An 83-year-old male was at Kingmill Hospital in Mansfield on 6th February when he had £600 stolen from his coat pocket.

The incident happened between the hours of 5.35pm and 7.30pm.

Unfortunately due to the patient being situated within the open part of the ward, there has been no CCTV to help with the investigation.

The police are appealing for anyone that saw anything suspicious around this time, anyone loitering nearby or running away from the area to contact us.
