The event on Wednesday, August 10, was held in conjunction with Hucknall SureStart on Titchfield Park and featured a story telling tent, a play bus, a penalty shootout and a smoothie bike.

Volunteer Astra Morrison said: “The attendance exceeded expectations and was helped by glorious sunshine.”

Children enjoyed seeing animals from White Post farm, local businesses were represented with stalls, and information was available from Ashfield District Council and Citizens Advice.
