Family looking for missing Mansfield man

A man who has been missing for more than a month from Mansfield is being urged to make contact.

Arturs Anisimovs, who moved to Mansfield more than a year ago from Latvia, should have celebrated his 24th birthday online with family on 15th September but he did not make contact.

He was last seen on 30th July this year and his family, who still live in Latvia, has not heard from him since 11th August.

Arturs, who speaks fluent English, is believed to have bought a train ticket to Leicester on 16th August. He also has links to Lincolnshire.

Mansfield Inspector, Neil Williams, said: “Arturs’ family tells us this is out of character for him.

“Activity on his phone stopped on 16th August and being that it was his birthday, and still no one has heard from him, our concerns have become heightened.

“If you have seen him, or know of his whereabouts, please call us.”
