Friends toast Macmillan success
A Macmillan coffee morning has raised more than £1,400 for the cancer care charity.
Friends and locals to the Rufford pub in Mansfield clubbed together to get baking and selling as many raffle tickets as possible for the morning held on 27th September.
Victoria Melling, Lindsay Pownall and Samantha Lane held the morning to support their friend, Carla Fischer from Sutton, who has breast cancer. Lindsay said: “We had amazing support, we were selling raffle tickets left right and centre and everyone dug deep to help.”
