Gritting teams will take to Nottinghamshire’s roads tonight as temperatures are set to plunge
Nottinghamshire County Council’s gritting teams will be out on all main routes tonight as temperatures plunge.
A spokesman said the teams are on amber alert for the next three days as road temperatures look set to fall below freezing.
The teams have been on full 24/7 standby and will remain that way until the end of March next year – or later if necessary.
