Hucknall man missed court after attack
A Hucknall man missed a court date to face drug-related charges because he had been hospitalised after being attacked with a bat.
Kris Wright, 36, of Chatsworth Drive, was due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday after he failed to attend a test for Class A drugs at Mansfield police station on February 18.
The court was told he had been attacked with a bat and was currently in King’s Mill Hospital.
Magistrates adjourned the case for one week with the proviso that a medical certificate be provided.
