Hucknall: Police launch investigation following serious assault last month

Notts Police are investigating a serious assault in Hucknall on Tuesday 4th November.

At around 7.15pm a 41-year-old man was walking along Robin Hood Avenue when he was approached by a group of four white men who accosted him. The man ignored them and continued onto Astral Grove.

Two men from the same group then reappeared in front of him. He was hit from behind, causing him to fall to the floor where he was punched and kicked repeatedly in the head and body. The victim was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment to serious injuries.

The offenders are described as 5’6”-5’8”, aged 17 to 18, of medium build, wearing sunglasses, a black scarf over his face, a light, grey hooded top and jogging bottoms. He was riding a bike, 5’6”-5’8”, aged 17 to 18, of slim build, with a shaven head. He wore a grey tracksuit which was unzipped with a t-shirt underneath, 5’6”-5’8”, aged 17 to 18, of medium to stocky build, with short, black hair. He was wearing a grey tracksuit and dark blue or black gloves and 6’0”-6’2”, aged 17 to 18, of skinny build, wearing a dark blue tracksuit, possibly with a light blue t-shirt underneath.
