Kirkby-in-Ashfield: Man has life threatening injuries after he was hit by a lorry
Notts Police are appealing for information after a crash between a lorry and a pedestrian on the A611 Derby Road at Kirkby-in-Ashfield, near to the Hollinwell Golf Club, just before 3.15am.
A man was taken to Nottingham’s Queens Medical Centre, where he is being treated for life threatening injuries.

Hide AdThe road remains closed in both directions between Shoulder of Mutton Hill and Diamond Avenue while police Forensic Crash Investigators continue their enquiries and recovery takes place.
The road is expected to re-open early this afternoon.
