Kirkby memorial stone to fallen of the First World War is re-dedicated

A service has been held in Kirkby to re-dedicate a memorial to 14 young men who fell in the First World War.

The stone which was originally in the Bourne Methodist Church until its closure, was re-installed at Trinity Methodist Church. The service on 29th September, was attended by Civics and Officers from Ashfield District Council, members of Kirkby Royal British Legion, children of Kingsway Primary School and was conducted by Rev.
