Mansfield charity hosts Marie Cure tea parties
The Making it! Discovery Centre in Mansfield is taking part in the Marie Curie Cancer Care’s ‘Blooming great tea party’ campaign this June to help raise vital funds needed to care for those suffering from cancer.
From June 23rd to 27th, the newly refurbished Brewhouse Café, based on Weighbridge Road, will play host to vintage afternoon tea parties as a way of raising money for the charity.
Whether it’s a special occasion or a mid-week treat, the charities are encouraging as many people as possible to get involved by booking their places. £3 for every afternoon tea booked will be donated to Marie Curie - but the giving doesn’t stop there!
