Mansfield firm Hall-Fast Industrial Supplies scoops top East Midlands online award

The latest accolade, the company’s 20th major award in recent years, was collected at the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber’s annual meeting at Southwell Racecourse on Thursday.

Hall-Fast operates a collection of e-commerce websites of more than 100,000-plus products that trade across numerous continents.

All of these websites are controlled by a single integrated administration interface that provides online catalogue management and order processing.

Said managing director, Malcolm Hall: “We are delighted to have won another major award

“Our current projections for 2013 will see online sales growth of 623 per cent this year, and the rapid addition of products to the online catalogue in the first six months of 2013 has almost doubled the stock items available for sale online.

“This level of growth means that online activity will contribute significantly to total turnover in the medium term and offers very good potential for our future growth prospects.

“We expect our direct online sales to be circa 25 per cent of our sales next year’’

The Anglia Way company will now go forward to the national finals to represent the East Midlands.

This year’s British Chambers of Commerce ceremony will be held on Thursday 28th November at The Brewery London, one of capital’s most prestigious venues.

There, one lucky winner will walk away with a £25,000 cash prize, courtesy of the RBS Group.
