Mansfield fostering couple up for award
Two Mansfield foster carers are in the running to win a holiday to Majorca after being named as finalists in a competition to reward heroes.
Nadine and Brian Gent, have made the final 10 in a holiday price comparison website’s inaugural competition, which aims to celebrate individuals who have made a difference in their community.
The shortlist for icelolly.com’s Holiday Heroes 2015 was announced this week, following public nominations and a vote by a panel of judges.

Hide AdThe couple were nominated by Carmel Bryan, a supervising social worker after helping one particular child recently, moving them back home with their birth parents.
