Mansfield weaver shows off her skills at University of Derby Open Studios Fair
Mansfield weaver and ceramicist Jayne Woodbridge showcased her talents at a recent artisan fair at the University of Derby Open Studios.
Jayne Woodbridge of Woodbridge Designs displayed her handmade woven ties, baby-wraps and scarves; all of which can be made bespoke. Jayne, a finalist in the ‘Woven Fabric for Interiors’ category at the Bradford Textiles competition in 2011, makes all of her products from locally-sourced yarns, and uses traditional weaving techniques on a table and counterbalance treadle loom.
