New Beavers make their promise
The District Commissioner visited the newly reformed 4th Hucknall Beavers group last Thursday as the youngsters made their promise.
The group, which meet up on Thursdays at the scout hut on Salterford Road from 6.30pm-7.30pm, recently reformed thanks to a new group of volunteers.
Parents and carers were invited to the special ceremony which made all the youngsters offical members of the scouting movement.
“We’d love to welcome more members,” said Hannah Harwood who helps run the group. “Just drop by at the next meeting or call me on 07912 423676.”
